Jan. 27th, 2013 12:23 pmHappy birthday,
liseuse!
A spot of rus in urbe and ancient woodland, all no further out than Zone 3: Queen's Wood and Highgate Wood.
Made a sardegnera with anchovies for Friday supper as I had the day off.
No Saturday rolls as I was working.
Today's lunch: seabass fillets seasoned with salt, black pepper and garam masala, panfried in butter and served with cut lime to squeeze: with baby new potatoes roasted in goosefat, fine asparagus roasted in pumpkin seed oil and drizzled with balsamic vinegar, stirfried bok choy.
This week's bread: the Psomi loaf from Greenstein's Secrets of a Jewish Baker, with Rapunzel crunchy seed mix rather than toasted sesame seed.
