Catching up with myself

Wheeeee! I've just given people all their five questions that I committed to over a week ago.

I've also read, considered, and made suggestions for revising an essay by my Antipodean Correspondent, whom I may have previously mentioned, which has been sitting around looking at me accusingly for about two weeks now.

I've also put together my notes on CD A's ms, except the notes and me are not currently in the same place so I can't send them, bah.

I have sent off the various forms and documents re PhD examination to co-examiner for signing and sending on.

I have concocted a title and abstract for paper I was persuaded into offering for conference in June and sent them off to the organiser.

I have sent off my proposal and cv for a possible short-term grant to go and do some archival research at a US institution.

I have said yes to an invitation to attend a breakfast meeting with the radio people I saw yesterday about future development projects.

I had a conversation with a friend-of-work-volunteer who is a TV producer-type person thinking of generating a programme on Topic Within My Area (this was quite unexpected).

I have FINALLY revised paper I gave several years ago about the database for the conference in Brussels next week, and sorted out the images I actually need to go with it and got them in the right order in Powerpoint. I now need to read it through as it's probably still a bit too long.

Go you, & thanks for the questions. I am also currently fretting over a talk that is too long (15 minutes is not long enough to explain *anything* properly!) I shall therefore try to avoid the distraction of answering them straight away...
