Flaneuserie

Today I was a flaneuse around mostly downtown Minneapolis. It occurred to me that it was actually a feasibly walkable distance from hotel to downtown, so I did this, since the weather, though warm, also involved a refreshing breeze. I strolled down Nicollett Mall, popped into a couple of bookshops, had a delicious lunch in Masa (limeade with ginger = bliss!), wandered down to the Walker Art Center (where I was not unduly excited by the current exhibits), and drifted around the Sculpture Garden, tottered across the footbridge (for some reason this really freaked me) into Loring Park, sauntered around the park a bit and then made my way back along the Greenway to downtown, where I succumbed to a taxi back.
