Today I Used My Powers For Good

Today was the viva of the thesis I was examining (not the Dreadful Thesis, the Excellent Thesis). This all went very well, as my co-examiner agreed that it was a thoroughly excellent thesis, solidly researched, well-organised, and competently analysing the material it was discussing.

We hope it will be published in due course.

Now I must find the form I am supposed to complete saying the candidate can be awarded a PhD.
