The new pink pound: The tweenage mag market is growing ever stronger on a diet of princesses, ponies, pals and puzzles. Aaaaaaargh! The pink! The pink! The sparkles! Aaaaaaaaaaaaargh!

Well, I sort of knew this already: the press, sceptical about anything politicians say or do, becomes credulous when faced with medicine. Boy do they become credulous.

And on a lighter and less fraught headbanging note, Nancy Sinatra wishes she had been a bad girl: well, the boots song, 'I just wonder did you ever...' and 'Summer Wine' certainly gave everyone who listened to them that impression (in the very best of ways), no?
