Nothing much to see here

Had a pretty reasonable night's sleep (though woke up with a headache composed of sinus+ stiff neck, I blame the plane again).

Had rather piggy breakfast involving blueberry pancakes and large quantities of coffee.

Checked email + LJ.

Did a spot of ironing to freshen up packing-creased clothes.

Judged that the time was right to ring partner and find him at home (was right).

Sent email of brief commentary on review article friend had asked me to glance at.

Did more work on the review I started in Costa Coffee at Heathrow. Getting there, which is just as well as I realised the day before I travelled that it is due next week.

Went out to find conference registration.

Found conference registration and got my badge, meal tickets, and programme (since the copy they supposedly posted to me had not arrived by the time of my departure).

Met various people, ending up going for coffee and chat with one of them.

About to go out again to attend reception, and then onwards to select garden party given by friend of mine who teaches at U of Minnesota.

Actually, this has been a nicely laidback yet not entirely unproductive day.
